Find and open a ticket
Find a Latch ticket by title or ID, narrow the list with filters, and open the record you need to work on.
Before you start
- Sign in to your workspace. You need permission to view the task list and the ticket you are looking for.
- Have the ticket ID or a few words from its title ready. This guide uses the desktop interface in English. Your workspace may use different names for tickets; the screenshots show Tasks.
Open All Tasks
Select All Tasks in the Work section of the sidebar. If the sidebar is collapsed, open the navigation first.
Use this list to find existing work. Incoming requests that still need review appear in Triage Queue.
Search by title or ID
Enter the ticket ID or words from its title in Search tasks. Wait for the list to update after you type.
Check the Status filter. Active is the default, so a resolved or closed ticket may be excluded from the results.

Use Status to include the state you need. You can also narrow the list by Site, Tags, Asset, Priority, or Created date.
If nothing matches, remove the search text and widen the filters. A ticket may also be outside the records your account can view.
Open the matching ticket
Select the matching ticket in the results. Confirm its ID and title on the detail page before taking action.
Review its description, current status, assigned person, and linked site or assets to check that you have the right record.
Check the result
The matching ticket is open and you have checked its identity and current state.
